How to sync iPod nano with new MacBooks?

Is it possible for me to sync my iPod nano with my 2018 MacBook Air? I can't find a 30 pin to USB-C cable. What is the easiest solution to this? I'm guessing a 30 pin to usb plugged into a usb to usb-c adapter?

Hello, AFRJ.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! From your post, I understand that you'd like suggestions on how to sync an iPod Nano with via USB-C. In my opinion, an adapter is a great solution.

The USB-C to USB Adapter lets you connect many standard USB accessories to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) enabled Mac: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

So, if your iPod nano is listed as compatible, the adapter and cable should work together: Apple 30-pin to USB Cable - Apple

I hope this helps! Take care.
