Student Apple Music

How do I know when I’ve officially switched from an “individual” apple music account to a “student” account? I tried switching and did the UNiDAYS verification and account but it still says in settings that I have an individual account. Will it fix itself or do I have to do something more?

iPhone 6s, iOS 12

Manage your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support

If it has a checkmark next to Apple Music Individual on the subscriptions page of your account, then that is the current subscription type.

Get an Apple Music Student subscription - Apple Support

If UNiDAYS finds that you're not a qualifying student, then your subscription automatically becomes an Apple Music Individual subscription.
