My Macbook Is Making A Weird Noise

I don't think it's a sound quite like a 'clicking' noise and it's not coming from the fan I don't think. I put my ear against the part of the macbook where the screen meets the body and I found the noise coming from near the area where the esc button is on the top left part of the keyboard.

I don't know how to fix it or what it even is. For context, I got my macbook 3 years ago. I wouldn't describe it as a 'clicking' noise but maybe the sound of a loud and busy processor (That might sound dumb) is it anything to worry about? How do I fix the noise?

Thank you

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.12

Your Genius Bar appointment at an Apple-owned store is free, in or out of warranty.

Those guys put they hands on these Macs all day every day, and they can diagnose noises and battery problems very well.
