iPad Pencil Skipping on Ipad 6 Gen 9.5 inch.

I have the 2018 iPad 6 gen with the 9.5 inch screen.

Just randomly today after 6+ months of use, the apple pencil strokes have started skipping on all writing apps including apple notes. I have read multiple threads that have mentioned turning off the zoom feature solved the problem however I have done this and it has not helped.

I have restarted my iPad, unpaired my apple pencil, updated my ipad & tried everything else I can think of. Has anyone else figured out how to solve this issue?
