How to remove dead icons from Launchpad?? (screenshot incl.)

The other day without me realizing it, this known malware program name "Top Results" was downloaded onto my Mac. For some odd reason (at the time) I couldn't get Malwarebytes to install, so I did a Safe Boot and uninstall Top Results that way. That I know of, it was removed successfully. But when I go to my Launchpad, the blank icon-like (see screenshot) is still there. No matter what I try, I cannot get it removed. To be sure, I re-tried installing Malwarebytes again, this time I got it up and running. But it doesn't find any malware, etc on my Mac -- according to Malwarebytes, my Mac is clean.

Is there, or how-to one can remove what seems to be a dead icon?

Many thanks in advance!

Go to Launchpad, click and hold on the icon till it wiggles and jiggles and wriggles, then click the x, it should disappear.
