10.14.6 Supplemental update now doesn't sleep properly

I applied the above update, thinking it contained more than the Sleep issue (which I didn't have). Now my iMac comes out of sleep - or rather, it still does backups, though the Enable Power Nap is unticked in Energy prefs.


I've also noticed that one of my apps (widgets?), Boom 3d, now takes longer to open, and earlier failed on my MacBook Pro.


Anybody else noticed weird behaviour since applying this update? Why was this update apparently rushed out shortly after 10.14.6, when most people didn't even need it?

We know you are frustrated however the last last sentence of your post is not answerable per the Terms of Use we all agree to regarding speculating on Apple policies or decisions.


However, I would try doing some basic troubleshooting such as restarting in Safe Mode, resetting the NVRAM and if both fail to contact Apple Care to see if they can assist.
