Hi there,
So no too long ago, I got an email about a billing issue when my Apple Music subscription had to be paid. However, I’m not sure but it appears to be paid and I don’t have access to the music I previously had on it?
Would someone be able to help me out?

Check the status of your subscription. It will say either active or expired.
See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support. The purchase history for your Apple ID account will specify all charges to your Apple ID account, including subscription fees. Then you know for sure if it has been paid.
If the subscription is currently expired, then you will have to re-subscribe to activate the service again. If you re-subscribe without waiting too long, then you should regain your iCloud Music Library and playlists again.
