trade in shipping package

I traded my iPad at the Apple Store and they did not expect the charging brick or cable at that time (November 2018). But to be sure, when you get the box from Apple to ship the iPad, it should tell you exactly what they expect you to send back with the iPad. If you have the box and it wasn't made clear what to ship back, use the Contact Support button at top of this page and ask them.

Another friendly advise. I would take photos of iPad before packing it up, sending in for trade in. There were plenty people in this forums had their trade ins rejected because of devices they sent in to "third party," were broken, bent, etc. I was one of them, and I never thought about taking photos. I don't know how the trade ins are now, but still have to watch out.😕

When shipping that iPad, take pictures of the iPad, before it is packaged up, and when you are ready to ship it, insure the iPad for it's full value against any shipping damage.
