How to connect iphone 6s to internet whilst it's disabled

So, I went to www.icloud.com to erase my iphone 6s . Everything was going smoothly until I encountered a message. It said, "This Iphone will be erased once it connects to the internet."

See my problem here?

Iphone accessories such as the charger will not work because I reset my phone 6s, and my password does not work so therefore I cannot get in and allowed touchID and use of charger.

How do I connect my Iphone 6s to the internet WHILE it is disabled?

You don't need to connect it to the internet. You can use Recovery Mode and a computer with iTunes to wipe it.

You cannot. It is disabled, as in no longer performing any normal functions. Both the cellular and WiFi (and BT) radios will be off on a disabled device. Your sole option is to plug it into a computer running iTunes and erase it by restoring as new to reset the passcode

But a disabled device cannot be erased over the air.
