My phone is frozen

i have an iPhone XR and it’s frozen it won’t let me exit out of any apps and I can’t restart it because the slide to power off button won’t pop up. Is there any other way I can restart my phone?

try a forced restart - press and release the volume up button then the volume down button then hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
