iCloud Photos albums

I have a lot of albums created on my MacBook. If I turned on iCloud Photos, will the albums be saved or will I have to create new albums?

The albums in the Photos app on your MacBook will sync to iCloud (and also to your other devices if iCloud Photos is turned on in them).
