I discovered the Activity App last night ( a friend was using it and recommended it) so I went home to attempt to download it from the app store. I got the message that the App cannot download to this device. I have an Iphone 6 running iOS 12.4.1
I don't think it is my phone model, as in previous posts I see that people were installing it on Iphone 5 models.
The Activity App requires a paired Apple Watch as it tracks the activity from it. It cannot be downloaded on its own.

I would also like to add to my post above: I went back into the App store to try downloading Activity again, but the app no longer appears in the App Store when doing a search. What's with that?
Wow. That's good to know - there was nothing that I could find in the literature about that. Thanks for that- ends a rather frustrating Apple session!
