How to make a copy of my entire iTunes Library on a portable external hard drive.

With all of my confusion about Apple Music vs iTunes, I want to make a copy of the iTunes library I've spent YEARS curating from CDs, purchased Apple Store music, Amazon music, etc. Where do I find the correct library file to copy, and how do I accomplish copying it to a Seagate Backup Plus Slim?

You should have a folder named iTunes inside the Music folder in your home directory (unless you chose another destination when you created the library).

Inside the folder you find the library and the audio/video files. You can copy the whole main folder to have a complete backup.
