To my understanding of AirPlay, devices you see in the list are those that you can connect to, not ones that can connect to you. My neighbors are connected (without my permission) I never allowed it I don’t know how it happened. I can’t remove them and I don’t have any Airplay controls or settings. I can see them in my list when I push the airplay button on music.. I can connect to them but I can’t remove them.
Thank you! This was helpful. I understand it more now, still wish there was a way I could remove them. I only found out because I saw a device in my list and was trying to figure out what it was for... my music switched to my upstairs neighbors house and I couldn’t figure out how on earth it was possible.
