A question about Airplay 2 streaming across entire house

Ok so here’s my question;

If I have music playing out of my iPhone X/iPad Pro into my HomePod (Bedroom) & my Apple TV in the living room, is it possible to get it to stream to my iMac (2014 5K w Mojave & latest version of iTunes) in my studio room?

I understand I can use the Mac as an audio source, & then stream it out to the different platforms, but this is a question of the possibilities/boundaries of the AirPlay 2 software. I’m just trying to get a good grasp on the software. 🙂

Btw, if you’re a musician/audio engineer, it helps to play your tracks through each speaker in each room to check out the different sounds. I find it really helpful in finding what sounds I like & don’t like.

Your Mac can only be used as a source, not a destination. If you play on your Mac you can use its speakers, plus the HomePod, plus the Apple TV, or any combination of the three.
