How can I vew the list of apps requiring updates in iPadOS 13.x?

Prior to iOS 13.x, you could display a list of apps requiring updates. How can you accomplish this in iOS 13.x or iPadOS 13.x?

It appears that your only option is to blindly allow the AppStore to preform the updates.

Or, am I missing something?

Good afternoon JRK Apple Discuss,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you are looking for a list of apps that need updates after updating to iOS 13.1.2 or iPadOS. The resource below explains how to do this. I've highlighted some key information here for you. Click on the link for complete details.

Update apps or use automatic downloads

"With iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, apps and games that you download from the App Store are automatically updated by default.

If you prefer to manually update all your apps, you can turn off automatic updates.

How to manually update apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the App Store. If you're using iOS 12 or earlier, tap Today at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All."

Take care.

I discovered the problem was a bad upgrade from iOS 12.x to iPadOS 13. The state of my iPad would not show any option below the 'Update All' line and would not scroll.

I had to completely wipe my iPad, then restore iPadOS directly as iPadOS 13.x.

I can now see the list of apps requiring updates.

This problem required about 10 hrs to track down and fix, but at least I now have a resolution.

This does not answer my question. Your answer says absolutely nothing about how to see what apps require updating in iPadOS 13.x. It simply says how to update the apps.

I obviously know how to update the apps, otherwise I would not want to be able to review a list of them before updating them, which was a capability I had prior to iOS 13.x.
