I do not want my pictures show up on my iPad

Hi,

The wife likes her pictures she takes on her iPhone to show up on her MacBook, but she hates it when they also can be seen on her iPad since the kids are sometimes a bit too curious.

How can we change the iPad settings so the pictures that are in the Cloud, neither are no longer visible there nor will be synchronized to it either in the future?
