How Can I deactivate Catalina Software Update from my Imac in order to continue to use Microsoft Office 2008?

I recently Updated my Imac Sofware yesterday and I didn't see where it ask about the Microsoft Office Apps (32bitt) won't open because it needs 64bitt?


How can I set up my old software in order to be able to continue to use Excel?

Consider updating MS Office because going back it not easy. To go back, you will need to Erase your iMac's drive and then Restore from an earlier Time Machine backup. see > Restore your Mac from a backup - Apple Support
