photoshop with new OS Catalina

I cannot preview the files once I go to photoshop—open file: the file is either dimmed or not showing the preview of the file (meaning: the way the file looks visually as a thumbnail.)

Anyone experienced such a thing?

Thanks,

Your files should be just fine, and its good protective sense to have backups too. It is essential that as Adobe releases minor Photoshop 20 updates this Fall, that you apply them for incremental compatibility improvements with Catalina.
