"View Options" missing when searching

I have a workflow that requires me to search my library for a subset of songs and then display these in a list view for subsequent use. This functionality was present in iTunes, but with the transition to Music, this functionality appears to have been deprecated. Search results have no "View Options". Currently, you only get song name, artist, and album. iTunes store search results can be sorted by column headers, yet you get bupkis when searching your own library.....

As both a software developer and heavy Music user, I find this situation quite disappointing. It would seem to me that the search function could easily "inherit" a context of "View Options". When I'm interacting with my library "Songs", it's a list with "View Options". It seems quite normal that I would then want to further interact with this information either by sorting and/or searching, without having to then deal with a crippled display paradigm change. Just check out the search function in the LPX media browser.

I'll always have that "head in my palms" feeling when existing functionality is jettisoned in the name of progress.
