Hello, I have noticed some purple spots on my screen on my MacBook Pro 15 inch, 2017 model (see attachment ). They are not always present, but they are mostly seen when the screen displays a shade/mixture of grey. Did not drop it, spilled water or/and hit it. Is the screen broken and should replace it or what is it? Thank you and have a nice day.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"—

If you are still under warranty, initiating a service record would officially document the problem —whether you proceed with a fix at this time or not.
