When updated to MacOS Catalina keyboard and trackpad changed

Hi, this is a very strange situation. When I updated to MacOSOS Catatalina the keyboard and the trackpad started reacting too slow/fast/strangely. It is quite random, sometimes there's a word within another word, sometimes there are double keystrokes.

When I switch programs by using cmd + tab, I choose another than the current program and then the computer reacts as if I chose another and then fast chose back again. When I press the trackpad once it sometimes reacts as if double tap. Whenever I type passwords it takes forever because there are double characters everywhere.

I ha hve tried to change the settings of the keyboard and the trackpad but to no avail. I write code on a daily basis and this is very frustrating.

Actually, when I am writing this it is extraordinarily good, usually there are double and extra letters everywhere at random. I marked out the mistakes above so you can see what it looks like.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and how I can change it?

Hi, this problem still persisted after several updates. When I tried this it worked
