Controlling Apple TV with HomeKit

Have the Apple TV 4K showing up in HomeKit as a hub but can’t control it with any of the scene settings. Ex. I have a Phillips hue set up with the Phillips Switch. I want to hit the on (top) button and lights come up (that’s working) and the tv to come on through Apple TV (also working). Just can’t get the functionality of putting the Apple TV into Standby thusly turning off the TV (working).

While Apple TV can be a HomeKit home hub, it is not a programmable accessory.

It is somewhat controllable through Siri on an iOS device.

You can use the room assignments for AirPlay 2 purposes.
