Two factor authentication

I want to turn off my two factor authentication, but it is not working. There is no button that says turn off, only that it is turned on.

Once you begin using 2-factor it cannot be turned off, unless within a 2-week period.

"If you already use two-factor authentication, you can no longer turn it off. Certain features in the latest versions of iOS and macOS require this extra level of security, which is designed to protect your information. If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll for two weeks."
