Ok Thank you . I spent 2.5 hours on the phone yesterday with Apple trying to get this question answered. I returned a call to my phone that was from " Apple Inc." And gave them all my info plus plug in my phone to the computer. Now I'm wondering if this would be a way Apple would contact me . Just received that same call saying "my phone has been beached" Press one for further instructions. ???

No, such calls are scams from criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information.
Apple never makes such calls to you, unless you have initiated contact with them.
What should I do now ? I let them enter my computer thinking they were legit , because I had just read about the update that said was needed on iPhone 5 .
