Am trying to find out if I can update my Apple Watch.
my iPhone 6 says I need to update my iPhone first.
however, my iPhone has the latest sw already, (iphone6, sw.12.4.3)
this occurred after I updated to 12.4.3 yesterday.

I just figured it out.
Am trying to put OS 6 on my watch but have an iPhone 6.
phone is too old for OS13
When you eventually decide to get a newer iPhone, you can perform the watchOS 6 update.
Until then, Apple has been providing security updates for the watchOS 5 versions.
