Does anyone know what the white microphone inside a blue circle at the top right beside my signal on my iPad mini 5 means? I’ve never seen it before yesterday.

I believe that is the voice control icon

To turn Voice Control on or off after the initial setup, you can use "Hey Siri," the Accessibility Shortcut, or go to Settings, select Accessibility, then select Voice Control
