I already have the app downloaded and have been using it for several moments. I was attempting to re-install logic and think I may have deleted some important files. Every single time I try to open Logic it comes up with the phrase 'Logic Pro X is damaged and cannot be opened, you should put it in the bin.' Can anybody help me I've not been able to get help anywhere.

Did you try to first restart the computer and see if the problem goes away?
If this doesn't work then do the following.
Your signature says you're running Catalina (macOS 10.15) which has additional security controls which can interfere with some installation packages. So be sure you get it fresh from the Mac App Store.

that sounds a rather strange error message. Are you talking about 10.4.7 and what OS?
