I have a on older pensioner friend who has a 2008 Air, Keynote & Numbers are installed however Pages is missing.

The older Mac wont upgrade to let Pages be downloaded from App store as the new version needs a later operating system.

Any help would be appreciated

If your friend has the original retail iWork '08 DVD, then Pages '08 v3.x is on it, and the whole shebang needs to be reinstalled to get the full version of Pages '08 v3.n installed. Once that is done, Apple still offers a downloadable update to Pages '08 v3.0.3. That is the only help because Apple does not keep full Pages installers older than what is currently in the Mac App Store, and the current Apple Pages documents cannot be opened by hardware older than mid-2009, or Pages '08/'09.
