Double Letters and Skipping

I'm experiencing problems with double letters and repeating letter sequences when I'm typing. I have shut off the key repeat feature on the keyboard to no avail. I've had this 2019 MacBook for a few months and it is a sudden issue. Not sure if it's a hardware or OS issue. Any suggestions?

Resetting SMC as well as NVRAM could solve the issue.

Or try to boot in Safe mode to isolate software related issues with your Mac. If it doesn't help, run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something.

If they don't help, you'd better contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation or take your MacBook Pro to Apple authorized service provider to check it up.
