Finder does not show saved files.

MacBook Pro 2019 15 inc, Mac OS Catalina.

finder does not show saved files. Only rebooting the system helps, it is very annoying. I am a photography teacher, showing retouching lessons to my students on my macbook, working in Photoshop and when I save photos, I want to show them to students later, but these photos are not in finder. I can upload files to the cloud through safari, the only way they are displayed and in the finder they are not. Perhaps there is a solution to this problem? I am ashamed in front of my students to restart the Macbook.
