What’s the exact error text, and which specific model of Mac Pro are you trying with High Sierra?

Is this the High Sierra upgrade from the Mac App Store, or are you (erroneously) trying to use a High Sierra update?

Mac Pro mid 2010 and later models are supported with High Sierra.

Earlier Mac Pro models are not supported with High Sierra.

The Cheesegrater Mac Pro (2012 and earlier) is not supported by Catalina.

Specific Mac Pro cheesegrater models with Metal graphics can boot Mojave, but that’s the end of the line.

The trashcan Mac Pro (2013) is supported with Catalina.

Thanks for the reply & helpful suggestions.

I was able to finally find the correct update, allowing me to go from "Sierra OS" to "High Sierra OS" by Googling the search. For some strange reason, I could not find this upgrade in the MAC App store, at least not initially.

Anyway, all is well now.

Thanks you for taking the time to reach out to me.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Peace.
