Updating Microsoft Office after new iOS update

Has anyone else tried to update Microsoft Office once upgrading IOS? I tried doing it through my Apple ID login in the App Store and it just keeps going back to "Get" but not completing to "Install".

It is usual to open one of the apps in Office, e.g. Word, then on the top ribbon click on Help then Check for updates. Click on Check Automatically while you are about it.

If course you need Office for Mac 2016, 2019 or 365 to get any updates, older versions are not updatable.
