I followed all instructions but can't get the FindMy app enabled for my new MacBook Air with Catalina. My MacBook Pro and iPhone show on my iPhone and MacBook Air but the MacBook Air itselff shows the app is off. What am I doing wrong?

I can't get my new MacBook Air to turn on for the Find My app. I have the app turned on and it sees my older MacBook Pro and iPhone. My iPhone says the app is turned off, even when I have it opened on my Air. I upgraded the new Air to Catalina.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to get your new MacBook Air to show up in Find My app on your iPhone. To help with this, please follow the relevant steps in this Apple resource and then contact Apple if you need any further assistance.

If Find My iPhone is offline or not working

I was able to resolve this. There was one

window that I had difficulties getting to scroll. When I did I was able to check the appropriate box and all was well.
