I followed all instructions but can't get the FindMy app enabled for my new MacBook Air with Catalina. My MacBook Pro and iPhone show on my iPhone and MacBook Air but the MacBook Air itselff shows the app is off. What am I doing wrong?

I can't get my new MacBook Air to turn on for the Find My app. I have the app turned on and it sees my older MacBook Pro and iPhone. My iPhone says the app is turned off, even when I have it opened on my Air. I upgraded the new Air to Catalina.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

To help with this, please follow the relevant steps in this Apple resource and then contact Apple if you need any further assistance.



If Find My iPhone is offline or not working

Contact Apple Support
