Earbud not working

I purchased Apple earbuds at Walmart and paid extra 2$ for warranty with Allstate. I file a claim and was told to get in contact with the manufacturer first. I was wondering if I can get my Apple earbuds replaced due to sound problems?

Hello,

The most common problem with non-functioning earbuds is lint or debris in the charging port:

How to clean your iPhone's charging port

Also see:

If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If no help, Apple will only replace them if a manufacturing defect occurred:

Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty

Good luck.
