in IOS 13 now how do I download from iTunes Match my own music (the songs I choose) to my phone?

HELP. I am NOT joining Apple Music.

How, from my iPhone (for which I gave a lot money to Apple for), do I download Music-That-I-Own, from my iTunes Match (for which I also give money to Apple yearly for)???????? I am not going to stream music, I WANT IT ON MY GD PHONE. I don't want to be tethered to the GD internet 24 f'n 7. I want my phone to be like a GD iPod.

Nope, tt2, that wasn't it, I already know that's how it's Supposed to work, but thanks for trying.

In short, enabling Apple Music in the phone settings turned on the cloud icons in Music, and now that I can choose what of my own music I want on the cloud or on my phone, I have disabled Apple Music again.

See Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music (or iTunes Match) - Apple Support. Once Sync Library (formerly iCloud Music Library) is enabled on your device you should see all of your purchased, matched, and uploaded content in the cloud. You can choose what to download to the device to it doesn't need to be streamed. The rest you can leave in the cloud so you can stream or download as you choose when convenient. You can also remove downloads from the device should you need to free up memory for something else.

After my iOS 13 upgrade, my phone's Music app didn't give me the download cloud icons, with Sync on, which was never turned off in the first place. I have always used Match, and always downloaded from my own library via the Cloud until I encountered this problem. (tt2, your comments are less than worthless, they're confusing and annoyingly irrelevant.)

Anyone who upgrades to iOS 13 and all of a sudden cannot download from their own iTune Match music library, turning on (and off) Apple Music may solve your issue.
