Update "Photos"/Music programs -To Link music for making slideshow! Does Not show all the music I desire to use in my slideshow!!

Is there a way I can update my "Photos" program? Want to add music (from iTunes) for slideshow, When choosing "photos" while creating my slideshow, after adding new albums/music in iTunes - NOTHING shows up in the "Slideshow" editing area!!!

Please help me! I have updated my MacBook Pro - now having MacOS Catalina 10.15.1.

You ought to be able to select from locally stored music in the Music app (rather than iTunes) that hasn't come through the Apple Music subscription service. Working here.
