So if you bought a 16" MacBook pro its the only item that wasn't eligible for the black Friday gift card I was told!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! If I had bought the 13" model and configured exactly the same I would have a $200 gift card! Did anyone else contact them and get the gift card?? They said they will ask management but I feel like that was just to pacify me and get me off the chat...

Are you saying that when you purchased your 13" MacBook Pro from the Apple online store you were informed that there was a Black Friday deal where you would receive a $200 Apple Store Gift Card ... and you never got an email with the gift card information? Have you contacted Apple directly on this matter other than via the chat session?
I bought the 16" MacBook pro and I was told by apple support it was the only computer besides the mac mini and mac pro that wasn't eligible for the gift card! IF i had configured the exact same thing in a 13" I would have the gift card. They are taking it to a manager and I just wondered if anyone had tried and had any luck with this issue??
Ok, gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm sure if anyone else took advantage of the Black Friday deals will chime in with their experiences. I wouldn't be too surprised that Apple did not include their newest or most popular models with these deals.
