Apple Watch Screen Off

Apple Watch screen goes off when I move/lower my wrist making it difficult to see directions when driving etc. Can anyone make a recommendation for how to change that)

This is the way the watch works to save battery,the only thing you can do is to set the screen to stay on as long as the settings will let you, go into the watch app on the phone and tap on general then tap on wake screen and choose wake for 70 seconds.Your other option is to buy an apple watch 5 which has an ALWAYS ON display.
