Reminders in Catalina & Ios13 not syncing - or visible

I moved to ios13 some while ago. I DID NOT upgrade my reminders at this time.

I have just installed Catalina. No reminders were showing upon upgrade. I then went to ios13 and pressed the upgrade button.

Still nothing has come through onto the Mac with Catalina. I have tried inputting new reminders on both the iPhone and the Mac - no success in syncing in either direction.

My iCloud account on the web is in sync with the iPhone but NOT Catalina.

It appears online that there are issues (and not just related to the strange product launch order). There also appear to be others with sync issues. Has anyone found a way around this please?

Frustrated!!

First principles: Log the device that cannot see the reminders out of your iCloud account. Restart it. Then log it back in to iCloud
