Hello,
In Logic Pro X I have written a bass line with a midi keyboard using the fingered bass sound that comes with Logic.
I have then Exported the bass line converting it to a MIDI file..
However, when I drag the MIDI file into GarageBand (Mac) it converts into numerous tracks each playing a few notes of my original bass line?
What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this?

A format 1 file should have worked if the whole part was recorded on a single MIDI channel. Is there any chance your recorded the part using more than one of the 16 MIDI channels available?
There is always a chance but I’ve no idea howI did it.
