IPad Pro won’t sleep when cover is closed.

I’ve had the same cover for a while so I know the cover isn’t my problem. My iPad Pro ios13.3 will no longer sleep when the cover is closed. I noticed it was not staying charged like it should. Finally saw it was still on one night when the cover was closed. I’ve checked all the settings. The Lock/unlock is set correctly. I’ve switched it back and forth, did a hard reset but still won’t sleep when I close my cover. This is a recent issue. What’s up with this??

The lock is still operating on my iPad Pro 11 with iOS 13.3, but I am using the Smart Keyboard. I know you said the switch was set correctly, did you try turning it off and then trying the lock, and then turning it back on again? Since you have already tried a force restart, the next steps would be to create a current backup, then restore to that backup. If that does not work, then restore to factory and set it up as new, without using a backup. Check the lock setting, then try the cover to see if it works. If it does, then try restoring your backup again and see what happens. If it doesn't work when you restore to factory, reach out to Apple Support, or make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have it checked.
