i removed my apple id , erased my iPhone from settings and sold over. But when i sign into new iphone it required previous iPhones passcode which I was using!
its annoying please help

And when new owner got my previous iPhone he got new passcode for that phone, I explained him what’s happening to my iPhone and it’s requiring passcode of my previous phone ! What if the owner changes the passcode and I don’t know about it!
So actually this entering passcode of previous iPhone is annoying! What’s the way to change it? Please help, thanks
I don't either and therefore I have to ask you whether you are sure if the iPhone is asking you to input a Passcode OR a Password to your Apple ID?
If it is asking you to enter the Password for your Apple ID then you should enter it because an iPhone passcode to unlock an iPhone is different from an Apple ID which is universal across all of your devices.

Can you please tell us EXACTLY what is stated on your iPhone's screen when it asks for the passcode or password? I want to be able to determine what exactly you are seeing and at which point in the process. Thanks.

No no no. You need to enter the OLD passcode YOU used to unlock the phone WHEN YOU had it. This passcode is protecting A lot of your personal data. It hasn’t nothing to do with the new owner. Enter the passcode you used when you had the iphone.
Enter passcode for another iPhone, Enter the passcode which you used to unlock iPhone “ my iPhone name”. This passcode protects your Apple ID saved passwords and other stores file in iCloud. Your password is encrypted and cannot be read by Apple

True I read that however OP also states that the old passcode that he used is NOT working. That is where I am getting stumped and thinking that OP may have meant password for Apple ID instead. I may be and probably am wrong however just wanted to clarify that by trying to see exactly what OP was seeing on the screen. Maybe I am overthinking however his old passcode is not working........

You can change or remove your passcode later. Just enter your old passcode once during the setup process.
Each time when I sing in/out my apple kidneys from my iPhone it requires to enter passcode from my previous iPhone, it’s not one step process:(
on my old iPhone, new owner had a new passcode , so the old passcode which I used to unlock my phone is not working. The new passcode set by new owner is working
