My Apple Watch isn't able to download any apps.

My apple watch isn't able to download any apps. The app just shows the spinning. There is plenty of storage. In addition, I used to be able to connect my iphone to my UE Boom speaker to play spotify and then use my watch to skip songs or adjust the volume. My watch no longer does this.
