Currently using Mohave. Is it true that if I update to Catalina I will no longer be able to use my microsoft office 2011 becase it

older 32 bit apps will not be supported on Catalina.

With the release of macOS 10.15 Catalina, applications will have to be 64-bit. App developers will issue updated apps if they want their apps to work on this newest macOS upgrade

Office 2016, 2019 or 365 will only import data from Outlook 2011 or newer.

If you're using Outlook 2011, you need your email database long enough to import it into Office 2019.

Yes it is, office 2011 does not work under Catalina

You'll need to upgrade to either Office 365 or Office 2019.

Alternatives are the free LibreOffice:

And it's Mojave, not Mohave.

Good decision!

Office 2019 is one-time cost software, just like Office 2011. But, if you have no real need to upgrade to Catalina, then free is the better choice be staying in Mojave.
