Update MAC OS 10.15.2 not showing as installed

I have installed the latest MAC OS Catalina Update 10.15.2 5 times from the software update screen of system preferences, each time my mac has restarted and shown it is installing and processing something, however when it restarts and looks for a new update it again says that MAC OS 10.15.2 is available to install.

How do I ensure the update has installed correctly?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

When downloading large updates from Apple it is often best to connect your mac to your router

using a cabled connection rather than WiFi, do not use the mac while it is downloading, and if other

devices share the same internet connection don't use them either.

Alternatively you can download the standalone update from the Apple Support Downloads site,

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2028?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Once downloaded double-click to install.

I'm having the same problem with my MacBook Pro.

Automatic download and install fails every time. Downloaded above 10.15.2 from link provided in post above.

Kept getting the error message on trying to install that I didn't have enough available disk space. So after deleting enough to provide sufficient space, install starts to the point of saying it is prepared and to reboot...

Reboot takes seconds (far too quick from previous experience of updates).

Once rebooted, still says I have an update available and am still on 10.15.1

Now what do I do - delete even more and keep trying or is there another underlying problem with 10.15.2???
