How do I undo a "Restore my iphone" where I lost all my pictures. I've tried opening iTunes and selecting 'General prefrences' then selecting the backup I want. I clicked on "Restore backup" under "Manually Backup and Restore" option but my pictures are not there. The only pictures that are there are the ones from when I first bought my phone. Any pictures that have been taken after I purchased my new phone are no longer there. Please help.

Where to Look:

If these photos were not backed up in iCloud, they might - just might - be recoverable (by other methods of data recovers). That would be so, if they were stored on another device. If you recover some or all of these, back them up. Such other locations would be below. So, look in those locations. Its worh a go. And, if you have a hard copy version (printed), then scan them in, and safe them as a file.

Look in these Locations:

  • External Hard Drive
  • Other Cloud Storage
  • Flash Drive
  • Computer
  • Digital Camera
