A Way to View Apple TV Screen on a Mac?

I recently acquired an Apple TV and I would like to use it solely as a home hub for my HomeKit devices. I do not own a television. Is there a way to connect it to my iMac so that I can see the Apple TV’s screen to set it up? (I’ve done a bit of searching online but all I find are ways to mirror or extend the iMac’s screen to the Apple TV, and what I want is the reverse.)

no, but connecting a monitor or temp tv one can enable the homekit part

in the settings

all management of homekit can be done with iphones, ipads, ipod touch and some newer macs without using the appletv which will just be acting as the gateway then
