Is this iPhone Covered by AppleCare?

If so or not, and for whatever reason, Apple ends up being of no option, then there are two alternative options I can think of, when it comes to using a supposedly, trustworthy Third-Party:

• Local Retailer (With Certified Technicians).

Or...

• Contact an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider):

2. Click: Service & Support
3. Enter: your location information
4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone

When you say you have an Apple Care subscription does that mean you purchased AppleCare +?
