MacBook Pro 16 inch hinge lid not complete flush on the right side.

Hello, I just received my new Macbook pro 2019 16inch with touch bar and when it is closed the screen is not flush with the main body mainly on the right side of the laptop. What I mean is that the screen leave 1mm or less of space when the laptop is closed. When I press down on the rights side I can visibly see that the lid can go down more. the left side looks like there is less of a gap between the lid. This gap does not affect the functionality as it seems to work fine. It seems more like a cosmetic miss alignment. I wonder if this is normal or should I make a trip to the Genius Bar and see if it can get fixed. Please let me know.

Then all you can do is take it in and see what they can do— maybe it is simple tightening a few screws.

I was going to recommend you a couple of things. Go to the Apple store and simply check out their machine. At the same time bring your machine with you so just in case yours is actually defective you can exchange it at that time. Your original post said you "just received" your MacBook Pro but then a few posts later you stated you're past the return period. So why say you just received it? That's why the member earlier recommend to return it.
